St. Emile Children's Centre (SECC)Parent Information:
Students MUST have indoor shoes in Before and After School Program. If you wish to send a pair of shoes specifically for SECC, there is opportunity to store them in the program areas.
After School Program Pick Up Locations for February...
Students in Pre-Kindergarten-Grade 1 are always in the Pre-K classroom in the mezzanine above the gym.
Students in Grade 2-4 are in the Grade 5 classroom for the month of February.
Students in Grade 5-8 are in the Grade 7 classroom for the month of February.

SECC staff consists of a variety of individuals from various backgrounds in child care.

Programs in SECC:
- Before School Program: 7:00a.m.-8:30a.m.
- After School Program: 3:30p.m*.-6:00p.m. (2:30p.m. on Early Dismissal)
Please note: SECC programs are not available on PD/Inservice Days, Christmas and Spring Break and are closed in the afternoon on days in which students are dismissed at noon.
**FOR SAFETY REASONS, ALL STUDENTS MUST BE WEARING INDOOR, NON-SCUFFING SHOES AT ALL TIMES.**
Before School Program
Before School Program takes place in the Pre-Kindergarten classroom in the mezzanine above the gym beginning at 7:00a.m. and ending when children are dismissed to morning recess at 8:30a.m.
Note: Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten students remain with SECC staff until 8:45a.m. when they are escorted to their respective classrooms.
Students in Before School Program are able to bring breakfast with them in the mornings and we have a toaster oven and microwave for student use. SECC is nut aware and all meals and snacks must be nut-free.
